Securing a wedding date

​

£50 will be required to secure your wedding date, this is a non-refundable/ non-transferable payment that will be deducted from your final balance. By paying that booking payment you are committing to adhere to the following terms and conditions.

Payments

​

Booking payments are made by bank transfer, trial and balance payments can be made by bank transfer or cash. PayPal, credit/debit card and other forms of payment are not accepted.

​

Trials

​

Trials are to be carried out 6-8 weeks before the wedding and are compulsory for the bride.

All trials are held at my studio in Preston, parking is available on my drive.

I ask that you refrain from bringing children to the studio for your trial appointment and due to the space only bring up to two accompanying adults.

Ideally these are held midweek between 10am and 4pm as weekends are extremely limited.

Please allow 2 hours for your bridal trial.

If you do require a Saturday trial, please be aware these are limited and booked months in advance and are strictly for the bride only, bridesmaids and mother of the bride/groom must be taken midweek.

The trial price will be taken in full at the time of the trial either by cash or bank transfer.

If you are having a trial WITHOUT securing your date, please note that the date may be booked in the time before your trial.

Your trial is the time to perfect your look and time is allowed to make adjustments until you are happy. If you need to reschedule your trial time, I will try my upmost to accommodate this. If for any reason you decide not to go ahead with the wedding date, the trial is still required to be paid for in full and the payment for securing your date will not be refunded.

Travel and Parking

Travel within 10-mile radius of PR44TD is included, outside that travel will be charged at 50p per mile.

Any parking charges must be paid for by the client.

For destinations over an hours travel or an extremely early start, accommodation may need to be provided. The cost for this must be covered by the client.

For International destinations, travel, transfers, accommodation and insurance must be paid for by the client.

Cancellations

​

Bookings for wedding hair are usually made well in advance of the actual wedding date, late cancellations are almost impossible to re-sell and for that reason the following conditions apply.

In the event you need to cancel your wedding the deposit to secure the date will not be refunded, if you have had your trial this also will not be refunded, as the service has already been provided.

If you need to cancel the wedding less than 12 weeks before 50% of the wedding price must still be paid

If you need to cancel the wedding less than 8 weeks before 75% of the wedding price must still be paid

If you need to cancel less than 4 weeks the full amount will still need to be paid.

Cancellations of wedding trials within 48 hours will be charged at £50.

The balance is required to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding, any late payments may result in extra costs.

In the unlikely event that the hairdresser is unable to attend the wedding due to illness a replacement hairdresser will be looked for, however this cannot always be guaranteed. If a replacement is not found then the hairdresser will refund the cost of the wedding booking minus the trial price (if already carried out) and the booking fee.

Changes to bridal bookings

ALL CHANGES NEED TO BE REQUESTED IN THE FORM OF AN EMAIL TO carlyscreationshairstylist@hotmail.com.

Changes to the venue or location that hair will take place may result in extra charges being made.

Bride plus 2 is the minimum booking for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday weddings.

Any agreement to do groups smaller than the minimum numbers is at my discretion.

Changes made to the number of hair, if there are less people than the minimum or agreed number at time of booking the full price will still be charged.

Adding on extra people/ larger bookings/early ceremony times may require an extra hairdresser and extra charges will apply.

Prices

​

Prices are subject to change.

If you have been given a quote and your deposit to secure the date has been made, then should prices change, your quote will not be affected.

If you have been given a quote and have NOT paid the deposit to secure the date, should the prices change your quote will be honoured for 2 days, after that the original quote will be void and you will be charged at the new prices.

Prices also include time for travel, unsociable hours, advertisement, correspondence and paper work.

I will aim to fit in to budgets etc, if this is made clear on first enquiry. If I am able to offer any discounts this will be at my discretion, please do not try to barter on price.

Smoking

​

Smoking including the use E-cigs/Vapes are not permitted during the hair trials or in the vicinity of the hairdresser.

​

Illness

​

If you OR ANY member of your household has been unwell with anything that is contagious such as flu or sickness and diarrhoea, please inform me PRIOR to the appointment. I have the right to refuse treatment and should the appointment not be able to be rebooked the full treatment price will still need to be paid.

Photographs

​

If time allows I may ask to take photographs these may be used on social media and my website.

No wedding trial or wedding pictures will appear on social media prior to the wedding.

I am happy for your photographer to take photos of me at work, I do ask that you credit such photos.

Also once you have received your professional photos back, if you are happy for me to display them on my website then please email me a decent resolution copy to carlyscreationshairstylist@hotmail.com

If professional photos or own photos are not to be used please ensure this is made clear and a note is made.
